Ever wonder what should be expected at your first tax sale auction? Watch this video for actual footage!
Casey Denman: Hey guys! Casey Denman here with TaxSaleAcademy.com. A lot of people are nervous or intimidated by the whole auction atmosphere. They just don’t know what to expect. And a lot of people send me emails, just asking what to expect. How does the whole process go and that kind of thing.
So I figured, what better way to describe it than a video? So at a recent tax sale auction a few weeks ago, I took a video. Now, the quality is not the best. I did it with my iPhone. But it is a short little video just to kind of show you what to expect. So let’s cut to the clip.
[Cut to clips of a couple of actual tax sale auctions]
Auctioneer 1:Sale 121, $100. $100 going once, $100 going twice. No bid. Sale 122, $100. Going once, twice. No bid. Sale 123, $100. Going once, twice. No bid.
Auctioneer 2:Sale 473, $100. $100. $100 going once, $100 going twice. Sold for $100 to Bidder 205.
Casey Denman:So as you can see, the auction setting itself is a very non-intimidating place. I can send a 5 year old in there to shout out numbers or to hold a bidder number or something along those lines. The trick is not learning how to bid. The trick here is learning how to be prepared well before that tax sale auction.
