Let’s talk about tax sale dates now.

And I wish I had an easy answer for you with this one. But the truth is that it varies.

In some states, they are held on certain days or certain times of the year. For example, Michigan holds their auctiosn in late summer and early fall. Whereas Oklahoma holds all of their auctions on the same day in June.

Other areas hold their auctions on a set day each month – like the second Tuesday for example.

And then some areas hold their auctions on an as-needed basis which might only be once a year or once every few years for the super rural areas.

If you’re interested in a specific state, head to the state guide link below this video, clikc on your state and learn more about the times when auctions are offered. You can also go to google and search for your local sales and find the information there. Take notes, mark your calendars and then get ready for the auction!

I’ll see you next time on our tax sale starter series. Take care.
