Today:
Finding a Tax Sale List
This is something that is always blown way out of proportion as being too difficult. The fact it it’s actually very easy. The county wants YOU to be able to access a list and they are going to be free and easy to find 99% of the time. Side note: there is no reason to pay a third party to access a list.
Heres how you do it:
Go to google, search for tax sale in your county, then navigate to the county office responsible for the tax sales there. It could be the tax collector, the treasurer, the clerk’s office, but go to their site. Then navigate to the tax sale section, and find the list.
If you can’t find it that way, pick up the phone and call that same department to ask when the next sale is and how to get a list.
