Hey there! It’s Casey Denman here with TaxSaleAcademy.com, answering your weekly question. This week’s question comes to us from Jamal. Jamal says, “Is there a particular time of year when most tax sales occur? What I’m trying to ask here is when exactly should I get started investing?”
Jamal, great question. The answer here to your last question is you should have gotten started in tax sale investing, well, yesterday. But since you can’t get started in the past, obviously, you should start right now. Start learning as much as you can about tax sale investing as soon as possible.
Tax sale auctions occur each and every month throughout our beautiful country. Depending on the area that you invest in, one particular state might hold most of their auctions in the summer or the spring or the fall or whenever. But if you learn through The Tax Sale Academy, we teach you how to invest throughout the country. This way, each and every single month, you’re investing in a different place. That way, you have that steady income coming in to you, and you don’t have to wait an entire year before you invest in a particular region again.
But Jamal, when it comes down to it, what you need to do is start learning how to invest in tax sale properties right now, long before you attend an auction. Learn as much as you can. That way, when that auction does finally get here, you’ll be starting off on the right foot and you’ll be headed to a very successful tax sale investing career.
Jamal, I hope this has answered your question.
